Conformational Ensembles: Statistical Structural Biology 2026EXPIRED

published: 29 May 2026, 3 min read, 'EVENT EXPIRED'

when: 09 Jun 2026 | cost: $108.55 to $535.38 | address: 600 16th St, San Francisco, CA 94158, USA

This workshop aims to ignite innovative thinking on how we can address current challenges in capturing and modeling conformational ensembles

Statistical structural biology seeks to move beyond the classic single-dataset, single-structure paradigm. The most compelling questions in the field—elucidating the dynamics of transient biological events, understanding allostery, investigating how binding events reshape the conformational landscape—cannot be effectively addressed with a single structure alone. Tackling these challenges demands large-scale data analysis, statistical interpretation of conformational ensembles, and careful exploration of the relationships between multiple maps and models. This conference brings together researchers pushing in these directions, with a particular focus on integrating structural approaches with complementary methods such as molecular dynamics, genomics, and proteomics.

The workshop will take place on June 8th/9th at UCSF Mission Bay. Please head to the information tab for more details.
