This gathering is not only a call to rethink our streets – it's a celebration of the amazing organizations making that transition possible, and a chance to sample some of the best street food in the country and kick the tires of new vehicles and technology!
The last few years have marked an unprecedented shift in how people view and use their cities, streets, delivery and transportation networks, as well as the restaurants, bars, and small businesses that make them unique. Commerce has moved to the curb at an unprecedented pace—and now local businesses, startups, retailers & eateries (and the cities that depend on them) live or die based on how they can adapt: to delivery, to pickup, to retrofitting their curbs, sidewalks, parking lots and disused facilities into civic spaces where citizens can engage.
Now as these trends solidify into a new normal, and cities across the world prepare for a rapidly changing future, it’s time to work together to ensure this new pattern – of consumption on the curb – works to serve everyone. Join us outdoors in sunny Downtown LA to meet the movers and shakers driving these trends, see the new technologies and designs pushing the industry forward, and taste the amazing cuisines that have emerged from this maelstrom.
