Downtown Culver City welcomes residents, neighbors, and guests to its Annual Holiday Tree Lighting Sled-tacular, gifting lots of family fun, laughter, and memories for the start of the Holiday Season.
The Celebration begin with the Sled-tacular Festival - 50 TONS of fresh snow for sledding and snow play, carnival games, and more. The beloved Tree Lighting Ceremony starts at 6pm, a 30-minute show featuring 250 local students and a boisterous countdown led by the Mayor to light the beautiful 25-foot Holiday Tree on Town Plaza. This is followed by a special visit from SANTA CLAUS in his first appearance of the season in Culver City, meeting all children in front of the gorgeous and historic Culver Studios mansion!
For friends and neighbors at home and across the country, the Tree Lighting Ceremony will also be live streamed at 6pm PT with the recording available online throughout the season (https://DowntownCulverCity.com).
The event is FREE to the public. Sponsors and partners include the Culver City Downtown Business Association, Amazon MGM Studios, City of Culver City, The Culver Studios, Hackman Capital Partners, Culver Steps, The Culver Hotel, The Culver Theater, Kiwanis Club of Culver City, Westside Production Rentals, and local youth and adult service organizations.
