Artist Intersection with Marcus Kuiland-Nazario and The Prodigious Poster Battalion 2025EXPIRED

published: 15 Jul 2025, 2 min read, 'EVENT EXPIRED'

when: 15 Jul 2025 | venue: 18th Street Arts Center - Street Campus | address: 1639 18th St., Santa Monica 90404

These gatherings are dedicated to gathering our community around good food, conversation, and art. Please stop by for a bite and chat with our community and spotlight artist.

For various reasons, many of our THE WRINKLE ROOM elders can’t attend demonstrations and protests anymore. But they can paint a poster! We decided to start the Prodigious Poster Battalion to provide an opportunity for those who have mobility issues or are too frail to attend to still exercise their First Amendment right to free speech by creating posters for the protests and demonstrations. Everybody is welcome. It’s free. Materials are provided.

The Prodigious Poster Battalion visits the 18th Street Arts Center on Tuesday, July 15, from 5 to 7 pm. Come and make a political poster to take to the next political protest, or leave it with us, and we will make sure it gets into the hands of our fellow peaceful protestors.

THE WRINKLE ROOM is a literary and performance salon celebrating the works of elder artists. Marcus Kuiland-Nazario is its Creative Director.
