Gallery 612 presents “Life is Soirée,” a solo exhibition by multidisciplinary artist Rachel Berkowitz. Rooted in her love of art history and shaped by the atmospheres of both London and Los Angeles, Berkowitz reimagines Rococo through a contemporary feminine lens that prioritizes joy, softness and ritual. Her luminous paintings explore leisure as wellness, drawing inspiration from timeless pleasures such as garden wandering, high tea, dancing and shared meals.
Rachel Berkowitz grew up in London and moved to Los Angeles to earn her BA in Fine Art at UCLA. Her work has been exhibited internationally, collected worldwide and featured in art fairs, galleries and private collections across the United States and Europe. She continues to expand her practice through residencies, large scale projects and immersive community events.
