Come and explore the centre’s facilities, find out about our fantastic range of programs and services or even try out an exercise or Tai Chi class.
We’ve got a packed program of taster classes, activities, performances and a free sausage sizzle.
Our friendly team will show you around the centre and provide information about our classes, self-serve computers and other services.
Bookings recommended. You’re also welcome to drop in on the day.
Program
10am to 12pm: Wrap with Love Knitters
10am to 10:30am: Living Longer Living Stronger 30-minute taster class
10:30am to 11am: Choir performance by primary school students from Alexandria Park Community School
11am to 11:30am KU Sunbeam Preschool - performance/storytime
12pm to 12:30pm Come along to sing-along taster
12:30-1:30pm: Intergenerational games hour with high school students from Alexandria Park Community School
1:30-2pm: Tai Chi - 30-minute taster class
Learn from our waste avoidance experts about free and easy ways to recycle tricky household items like blister packs, polystyrene, x-rays, CDs and paint.
We aim to present inclusive and accessible events. If you have any particular access or communication needs, contact the community services worker on 02 9265 9116.
Community bus transport can be arranged for older residents who live in the City of Sydney local area to and from the centre. Contact centre as above to book.
