Young or old, green thumb or brown, head down to the cemetery, explore the grasslands and help add some indigenous wildflowers to this iconic space.
Meet at the MacPherson Street entry to the cemetery. The team will be planting in the established grasslands along this boundary. All participants will be required to sign in before undertaking planting.
There will be a food truck onsite for the event, where you can purchase hot and cold drinks and some light snacks. Come dressed for the weather conditions – enclosed footwear is a must. Some trowels and gloves available, but you are welcome to bring your own. BYO water bottle.
This event is conducted as a Planet Ark planting day.
