Hail and Well Met!

Join us for a day of community, collaboration, and competition to test your mettle and meet comrades in imagination through the fantasy roleplaying game Dungeons & Dragons. This event—hosted by Bay Area Role Playing Games, a locally owned business providing professional Dungeon Master services around the Bay—was envisioned to bring RPG enthusiasts together to celebrate this beloved hobby. Don’t let the word “tournament” intimidate you; it’s a collaboration and community event first, the points are just for fun!

ChildcareFor those with children, we will offer childcare during the event—for an extra fee—including a movie screening and a children’s D&D session. Our Dungeon Masters have extensive experience running games for kids, and no prior experience is needed for your younglings to participate.

Student DiscountFor our younger adventurers and those most studious we are offering a student discount. You will be asked to provide proof of enrollment door.

Tournament StructureOn the day of the event, participants will be randomly organized into parties of six and assigned one of six pre-generated player characters. All parties will consist of the same six characters; character sheets will be provided in advance. Each party will then embark on the same adventure, run by a different Dungeon Master. Awards will be given for Best Party, Best Players, and Best Dungeon Master. Scoring rubrics for these categories will also be released beforehand. This inaugural tournament will consist of one four-hour round, followed by an awards ceremony.

RequirementsParticipants must be 13 years or older. This event is not recommended for first time players.
