EASTER BONNET PROMENADE
A New York Tradition, Reimagined for San Francisco
For generations, Fifth Avenue has transformed on Easter Sunday into a living runway of millinery, elegance, and social ritual. This spring, that tradition crosses the country.
On April 5, Washington Square Park sidewalks and pathways will become San Francisco’s stage for a refined Easter Bonnet Promenade. Not a parade. Not a spectacle. A curated afternoon of style, civility, and presence.
This is a promenade in the truest sense. A gathering to see and be seen. To greet neighbors. To admire craftsmanship. To honor the ritual of dressing with intention.
Expect:
• Extraordinary bonnets, from heirloom to avant-garde
• Tailored suiting, silk, gloves, florals, and disciplined excess
• Portrait moments and roaming content capture
• Gentle pageantry without barricades or floats
• A room without walls, framed by the architecture of North Beach
You are invited to participate, not spectate.
Design a bonnet. Revive one. Commission a milliner. Or simply arrive impeccably dressed. There is no stage, because the city is the stage.
Dress Code: Elevated. Editorial. Thoughtful.
Location: Washington Square Park, North Beach
Time: Afternoon gathering. 11 a.m. to 2 p.m.
This is the inaugural edition. Intimate by design. Future years will scale.
San Francisco has always understood reinvention. Consider this the beginning of a new ritual.
Feel free to pack a picnic and enjoy the afternoon in the park in style!
