when: 05 October 2024 | venue: Signal | address: Signal, Flinders Walk, Melbourne 3000Create a little soft sculpture creature using needle felting techniques with artist Kathy Holowko. Use an image of an animal or use your own drawing of an imaginary creature as reference and turn it into a 3D wool sculpture.
The class will spend a day together transforming beautiful, fluffy, dyed sheep wool into a dense and detailed object. All materials will be supplied so just bring your creativity and patience.
This workshop is suitable for all skill levels - no prior experience is needed, and beginners are very welcome. Please bring a nut-free lunch and drink, and wear clothes you don't mind getting dye on.
For children aged 11 to 14 years.
