published: 23 Sep 2024, 3 min read, 'EVENT EXPIRED'

when: 05 - 06 October 2024 | venue: Goyder Gardens | cost: 20 | address: 2 Market St,
It’s almost time to visit the Burra and Goyder region for the annual Goyder Gardens weekend to enjoy the diverse array of home gardens their creators will eagerly share. Each garden showcases a variety of plant types suited to the region's extreme temperatures, from harsh frosts to scorching summer days. Come for a visit and experience a variety of home gardens, from cottage to formal, rugged and productive.

Our friendly garden owners will be on site to chat and share their gardening stories.

Additionally, the Burra Community Market will take place in Market Square on Saturday from 9 AM to 2 PM.

The Burra Railway Station will be open for morning and afternoon teas on both days and Terry Scroop from Jamestown will be on site selling his array of succulents, also providing helpful hints on growing them.

A display of stationary engines and classic vehicles will be featured once again, curated by Paul Wilson.
