when: 18 October 2024 | venue: Pine Street Creative Arts Centre | cost: Full Price $375 | address: 64 Pine Street, Chippendale NSW 2008This 6-week course offers a unique opportunity to work with an expert jeweller to learn the fundamentals of metalworking for jewellery.
You’ll be guided through all the processes you need to create a pendant, bangle, brooch, ring or earring. You’ll learn exciting new skills, including correct metal selection and how to cut, form, roller print, solder and finish metals.
As the course progresses, the expert will inspire your creativity by introducing you to the work of several skilled jewellery artists.
No experience is needed to enjoy this course, which is designed for beginners.
Full instruction is provided on materials, tools, equipment and studio procedures.
This course takes place on Friday evenings over 6 weeks:
Week 1: 18 October, 6pm to 8:30pm
Week 2: 25 October, 6pm to 8:30pm
Week 3: 1 November, 6pm to 8:30pm
Week 4: 8 November, 6pm to 8:30pm
Week 5: 15 November, 6pm to 8:30pm
Week 6: 22 November, 6pm to 8:30pm
Small class size: maximum 8 students
Level: designed for beginner level students 16+yrs
Wear: comfortable clothing and enclosed shoes
Bring: yourself – all materials provided
