University of Michigan Law School Professor Leah Litman will discuss her provocative new book Lawless: How the Supreme Court Runs on Conservative Grievance, Fringe Theories, and Bad Vibes, which argues that the Court has abandoned legal reasoning in favor of political grievances dressed up in judicial language. With her signature blend of serious legal analysis and irreverent wit, Litman will discuss how major Supreme Court decisions are made. Litman will be in dialogue with UCLA Law Professor Rick Hasen.
