Kids will begin the activity by making their own seed raising mix, using bug filled worm castings, compost and potting mix. From there, kids will choose from a range of edible and flowering varieties of seeds and seedlings to plant into biodegradable pots.
Time permitting, participants will also have the opportunity to build seed balls filled with edible seeds, compost, and baking flour, ready to plant in their gardens at home.
