Manchester UK based artist Ruth Murray, a figurative painter who works predominantly with oils is living and developing new work in the Barossa between the 3rd September and 7th October 2024 as part of the Barossa Women’s Artist Residency.

Join us at the Barossa Regional Gallery to hear Ruth speak of progress, learnings and reflections on her time in the Barossa region.

In this session, Artist in Residence Ruth Murray will share the work she has developed during her stay in the Barossa Valley. Ruth will discuss her professional growth, creative discoveries and the consider lasting impacts for her self and our community.

The Residency project enables local artists both male and female to broaden their networks and learn from artists who come from other parts of Australia and the world. As part of their residency, Ruth participates in a series of public programs within the region.
