Sandhya Parappukkaran writes stories inspired by her childhood experiences traversing different cultures, which are steeped in themes of ‘embracing your cultural identity’. Scrumptious food and glimpses of nature drawn from her Kerala Indian heritage feature heavily when she sits down to write.
Sandhya’s latest book Stay for Dinner won the prestigious 2024 Multicultural NSW Award.
Stay for Dinner is a gorgeous food and cultural safari that is about appreciating and embracing the diverse ways families share a meal together.
Suitable for children aged 3–8 years.
Children must be accompanied by a parent or carer.
