Refine your composting skills and learn how to build fertile soil

Are you wanting to expand your composting skills?

Do you want to build your own fertile soil at home?

Well this is the workshop for you! Join Kimbriki's ecologists in this hands-on and interactive session at the community composting area of The Beach School Allambie.

The following will be covered:

  • advanced coaching in composting methods
  • learn the basics of hot composting and how to maintain a hot compost pile
  • learn how to optimise microbial activity in your compost pile
  • the science behind composting
  • troubleshooting for faster soil production.

This session goes from 10am - 2pm so attendees will need to bring their own lunch, snacks and a reusable water bottle.

Due to limited capacity, registrations are prioritised for Willoughby Council residents. If you aren't a resident, you can email Env.Educators@Willoughby.nsw.gov.au to be added on the waitlist, and notified if last minute spots become available.
