About Faye Chen
Faye Chen(she/her) is an arts and culture practitioner and emerging curator based on Gadigal land. Her practice is deeply informed by a profound engagement with both Australian and Asian cultural landscapes, by blending influences from these diverse traditions. With a focus on crafting nuanced and resonant narratives, Faye explores the intersections of these cultural currents in her curatorial and professional work.
She holds a Master of Art Curating from the University of Sydney, completed in 2020, where she gained valuable experience through internships at Penrith Regional Gallery and the National Gallery of Singapore. Faye co-curated the exhibition Entwined Within with Willoughby City Council Curator for the Emerge Festival 2023. She is currently the Marketing Coordinator at 4A Centre for Contemporary Asian Art.
