Join comedian and wine obsessive Dave Crisante as he takes you on a journey into the wine from his parents hometowns.

This show is a blend of stand-up comedy and wine-tasting.

You'll sample FIVE wines from some of Italy's most famous wine regions - a mix of white, red and sparkles.*

As you sip on tantalising varieties, selected specially to complement the fantastic Australian weather, you'll be taken on a journey that delves into history of these gorgeous wines.

Dave will take you on a playful, warm journey through the world of flavour, passion, and surprising humour, as he relives how he journeyed from his hometown of Sydney to the Italian regions of Sicily and Abruzzo in the hunt for the perfect wine.

This show is perfect if you love your wine, or if you're interested in tasting some new varieties. Bring your mates, dates, or even come solo and join in the fun!

You'll learn a lot about wine including:

• Facts to impress your mates or a date when you next open a bottle

• What varieties to look for when you need to make a quick dash to the bottle shop minutes before it closes

• Just how much wine you should be drinking to benefit from 'totally legit' health benefit claims.

*If the delicious Italian wine exported from Italy doesn't excite you, Dave's uncle also has some home brew that he's keen to share.

THE WINES

Tasting varieties are subject to change due to availability. This tasting is anticipated to include a sparkling rosé, two whites and two reds. For example:

• Lambrusco

• Grillo

• Pecorino

• Nero D'Avola

• Montepulciano
